This hive is still very active. I added 1:1 sugar water but did not do an inspection. I added 1 bar to the back.
Hive #2 Total bars: 6
I was worried because I didn’t see any bee’s coming up to this hive, but when I opened the back they were there. Left 1:1 sugar water, but again didn’t inspect because of the weather.

Hive #1
Very busy hive. 1:1 Sugar water added. I saw pollen coming into the hive. These girls are very busy! I eventually used smoke to enter into this hive. I saw 3 new bars of comb, and 3 bars of nectar/sugar water. I saw egg and larva but no queen.
Hive #2
This hive is about 2/3 smaller than hive #1. No new comb started, 1:1 sugar water was gone so added 1 quart. Very docile and not threatened by my presence. I didn’t use any smoke. I added one new bar at the front of the hive. I saw egg and larva but no queen.

NOTES:
Hive #1
Very busy hive. The queen was out of the queen cage, and new comb was stared on one bar. The 1:1 Sugar water was empty, so I refilled it. I saw a little bit of pollen coming into the hive. These girls are very busy! I was not meet by any guards and they were very docile towards me. I started to use a turkey feather to guide bees out of the way went replacing the bar, and they were very non-threatened by it and did everything I asked them to do. I only pulled the bar with the queen cage on it, but I added 1 bar at this time.
Hive #2
Not as busy as hive #1, but also bringing in pollen. no new comb started, and only 1/3 of the 1:1 sugar water was gone. I filled it up. Again, very docile and not threatened by my presence. I pulled the bar with the queen cage, and The Queen was released in this hive as well. I added a bar to this hive too.
